Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell received an offer from Michigan State on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.

Reddell is the No. 420 overall prospect and No. 21 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also a three-star recruit and the No. 8 player in Missouri.

On3 rates Reddell higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Reddell is a four-star recruit, the No. 34 overall prospect, No. 1 tight end and No. 3 player in Missouri.

The 6-foot-4, 224 pound prospect has recently received offers from Ohio State and Oklahoma, in addition to the Spartans. His list also includes 16 others from programs including Alabama and Tennessee.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power recently discussed why Reddell was ranked highly in the On300.

“Jaden Reddell… stuck out as we were evaluating the tight ends for the midseason 2024 On300 update,” Power wrote. “The Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar product began his career as a receiver and has grown into a tight end prospect. The receiving ability is readily evident, as Reddell is having a very strong junior season catching the football. We see the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder break off some huge gains on catch-and-runs, showing natural ball skills and good play speed. He’s caught 36 passes for 716 yards and nine touchdowns in seven games thus far.”

Michigan State currently has two commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. They are River Rouge (Mich.) four-star wide receiver Nick Marsh and Hialeah (Fla.) Westland Hialeah four-star cornerback Jamari Howard

Reddell has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
