Michigan State offers Fort Lauderdale 3-star quarterback Dylan Rizk
Michigan State has extended an offer to Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons three-star quarterback Dylan Rizk.
Rizk is the No. 601 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Rizk transferred from national powerhouse Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage to Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons last year. In his first season in the Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons program, Rizk led the team to the Florida 4A state championship.
He completed 169 of 251 passes for 1971 yards and 17 touchdowns plus another 456 rushing yards and eight rushing scores in 13 games.

Rizk earned first team all-county honors for his performance during the season.
The Spartans have one quarterback commit in the 2022 class in Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star quarterback Katin Houser. Houser is the top commit in the Michigan State class at No. 178 in the 2022 On3 Consensus.
Houser competed at the Elite 11 Finals last summer, where On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power was in attendance.
“Katin Houser entered as one of the less-heralded finalists but showed he belongs on this stage,” Power said. “The St. John Bosco product was steady over the course of the week. He was among the more accurate passers on a day-to-day basis. Houser throws a catchable ball and is at his best when operating in a rhythm. The Spartan pledge won’t blow you away with his velocity, but the ball comes out of his hand cleanly. He wasn’t quite as good throwing on the run as operating with structure. Overall, it was a ‘stock up’ showing for Houser.”
