Tom Izzo makes pointed comment towards officials during Purdue clash: 'I don't like the way it's been called'
Tom Izzo was not happy with the officiating early on in Michigan State’s clash with top-seeded Purdue during the Big Ten Tournament on Friday afternoon.
Speaking with the media during a timeout on the floor, Izzo was asked about what the Spartans would do differently moving forward in the game, but decided to instead turn the attention to the referees, and the way the game has been officiated thus far.
“We might start doubling now, but I don’t like the way it’s been called,” Izzo told the Big Ten Network, walking away from the microphone before elaborating.

At the moment, Michigan State only trails Purdue by a bucket, but it’s evident Izzo is keen on keeping on the officials, ensuring the game is called tighter than it’s been for the Spartans on Friday.
We’ll see if Michigan State can shock Purdue and make a run in the Big Ten Tournament, but Tom Izzo has some strong feelings that he’s getting out at the moment.
