2024 4-star cornerback Bryce West visiting Michigan this weekend

Cleveland Glenville four-star cornerback Bryce West will be making a trip to Michigan this weekend, stopping by Ann Arbor, Mich., on Sunday.

He is the No. 8 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates him slightly higher at No. 7 overall in the 2024 On300 ranking. Both rankings have him as the second-best cornerback in the class behind Chesapeake (Va.) IMG Academy five-star cornerback Desmond Ricks.

He recently put in a great performance at Under Armour Next Camp Series: Columbus.

The Industry Comparison shows On3 ranks West higher than the industry.

“Bryce West is a corner prospect we have been extremely high on since first watching early in the season,” On3’s Gerry Hamilton said. “The tape pops early and often with physicality in run support, reactionary quickness and the ability to stay attached in the intermediate game. The ability to answer the bell physically in run support, and run with speedy players vertically stands out among the corners in the cycle early on. West posted a 7.0 in the 60 meters in January.”

West currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
