Carrolton (Ga.) rising freshman Julian “Juju” Lewis’ interest sheet is already full of prestige and high-caliber football programs.

He recently added an offer from one of the college football’s semifinalists, Michigan.

The 2026 quarterback hasn’t had any contact with the Wolverines coaching staff, but he couldn’t help but feel excited. Lewis has already gained the attention of three of the four programs that played in this year’s College Football Playoff.

“When the offer happened I was really excited because they were pretty good this year,” Lewis said. “That was a blessing.”

Lewis already holds offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Penn State and Morgan State. He has received interest from Georgia, Alabama and Clemson already.

The in-state powerhouse Georgia is a program that Lewis has always held high. The Bulldogs just won a national championship and they’re about two hours to the Northeast of his hometown in Carrolton. Ohio State is another program that Lewis has his eyes on.

“Georgia is cool because it’s local, I already know a lot of the coaches out there,” Lewis said. “I’ve liked Alabama since I was a little guy. Its always been like a dream school. Ohio State is another one. That offense is immaculate. Their uniforms are hard too.”

Lewis will have time to sort out his recruitment in the coming years. He will take some visits this offseason. His eyes are set on his freshman year of high school in a few months.

Lewis is set to battle for the quarterback job at Carrolton High School. The offers bring expectations. Lewis doesn’t have a problem with that.

“Everybody knows that I’m coming up and it’s not really a surprise,” Lewis said. Right now, I have a quarterback competition at my school, so I’m working every day because nothing is given.”
