Michigan’s freak of a defensive end, Aidan Hutchinson, not only got to celebrate his team’s recent 42-27 victory over Ohio State, he also had a number of iconic moments in the game.

One play came when he waved over Ohio State left tackle Thayer Munford to come block him and Hutchinson then proceeded to run right through Munford, putting him on the ground. The star defensive end described the iconic moment on Friday morning on Chris Long’s “Green Light” podcast.

“We were getting late in the game. They had a long drive. And I’m getting a little pissed off. You’re on the field for a while. And it’s fourth down and I see that center point to me. They’re setting up to slide to me. I’m like, ‘Let’s go, [expletive]! Send it all at me. I want it all,'” Hutchinson recalled.

“And on that play, we had an edge pressure with one of the safeties, so my job was to, it’s called a heel’s charge. You just run through that dude’s face. And you take the inside if you get stopped,” he continued. “So I took my lane and man, that was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life. (Laughs). I don’t think anything will ever top that. Me waving him over and then putting him on his [expletive]. (Laughs).”

In case you didn’t get to see the play. Here’s a clip below.

Hutchinson’s NFL Draft stock has skyrocketed in the past month

Many people have Hutchinson currently graded as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft. He can further cement his status as the top overall prospect with a great performance against the Georgia Bulldogs and potentially, another opponent in the upcoming College Football Playoff.

Speaking of Georgia, Hutchinson has said he can’t wait for another rematch with Bulldog offensive tackle, Jamaree Salyer. The two players got in a brief scuffle during a one-on-one drill before the U.S. Army All-American Game as high school prospects.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper, Jr. recently listed Hutchinson at the top of his Big Board for the 2022 NFL Draft.

The freakish defensive end has seen his stock skyrocket the last few weeks, notably after Michigan’s victory over Ohio State. The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder racked up seven tackles and three sacks in the emotional victory.

In the Big Ten Championship Game, he had four tackles and a sack as the Wolverines defeated Iowa 42-3 to punch their tickets to the College Football Playoff.

Michigan plays Georgia in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Dec. 31. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 PM EST from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
