Blake Corum refutes business dealing with Connor Stalions
In the latest twist of the still-unfolding and ever-odder Michigan sign-stealing scandal, former staffer and central figure Connor Stalions and star running back Blake Corum are apparently listed as co-owners of a business — Home Essentials Distribution LLC — located in Wyoming.
Except Corum, when asked about it Tuesday, was just learning about this supposed business venture himself. He said he had found out about this shortly before being asked, and had already reached out to his attorneys to address the issue, as Corum said he has “no business” with Stalions.
“I know exactly what you’re talking about. My first time hearing it was before I was walking out to practice. First of all, I have no businesses with him,” Corum said. “I don’t have any business with Connor, anything. Nothing like that. But I’m glad whoever found it, whoever was searching the web, was able to find that. I appreciate you. My attorneys are on it. They’ll definitely get that figured out right away and get my name taken off of wherever it is. Right before I went out to practice, I saw that on Twitter. But no part of that whatsoever. My attorneys are on it.”
The document, posted on social media, shows Corum listed along with Stalions and a third person as organizers of the company.
Corum, one of the stars for Michigan during the past two-plus seasons, has numerous NIL-fueled ventures of his own including various giveaways around the Ann Arbor and southeast Michigan communities he’s spent years living in.
Corum said he’s unsure how his name ended up on the document, but suspects Stalions or someone else simply put down his info, if it is authentic.
“I don’t know what he did,” Corum replied. “I guess he would have to. I don’t know how that works. But it will be taken care of. Talking with my attorney right before I came out here, so they’re on it.”

Home Essentials Distribution was first registered in Wyoming in March 2022, with Stalions listed as the organizer. He included an Ann Arbor, Michigan, address for himself with the incorporating documents. The version of the incorporating documents currently available via the open-access portal from the state of Wyoming only list Stalions as an organizer of the LLC.
According to public available records from the state of Wyoming, the company remains active and in good standing with the IRS.
The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday reported that Stalions was apparently running a vacuum repair or sales company of sorts out of his home in Ann Arbor, reportedly angering neighbors and drawing the ire of his homeowners association.
Corum, when asked about the nature of the business on Tuesday, had some good humor about it all.
“Nah, that’s something I’m not really into,” Corum said, chuckling. “Vacuums aren’t my thing. I’m a clean person, but I’m not a cleaner. Vacuums aren’t my thing, so I don’t know anything about that.”
