Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore is continuing to fill out his coaching staff following departures stemming from Jim Harbaugh‘s exit to become the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to The Wolverine, Moore’s newest addition is bringing back Tennessee defensive assistant Brian Jean-Mary to the Wolverines’ coaching staff.

Jean-Mary spent one year at Michigan as the linebackers coach for the 2020 season, working under then-defensive coordinator Don Brown. Since he left the program, he has been in the SEC as a member of Josh Heupel’s Tennessee Volunteers coaching staff. Jean-Mary is expected to become Michigan’s linebacker coach for the upcoming 2024 season.
