Davis Warren challenges Ohio State over postgame brawl after Michigan win: 'You should've done something about it'

Davis Warren had a fiery message for Ohio State players following a wild brawl that ended Saturday’s win for Michigan. The quarterback thinks if the Buckeyes were so upset about Wolverines players attempting to plant the school flag at midfield after the upset, they should have played better.
The fight broke out after the 13-10 Michigan victory as Ohio State players moved in to stop the flag from being planted. Multiple players got involved as pepper spray even had to be used to regain order. Following the scuffle, Ohio State EDGE defender Jack Sawyer stole the Michigan flag and threw it to the side and attempted to rip it.
Speaking in his postgame presser, Warren came in fiery to defend the flag planting that started the brawl in the first place.
“We’re going to win in your house and we’re gonna plant the flag,” he said. “You should’ve done something about it.”

Davis finished the with just 62 yards passing and two interceptions. The score remained tied at 10 until the Wolverines drove downfield to kick the go-ahead field goal with 40 seconds remaining.
The victory means that Ohio State will miss the Big Ten title game as Penn State now advances to face Oregon. It also marks the fourth straight loss for the Buckeyes against the Wolverines.
Michigan coach Sherrone Moore spoke on the brawl in his postgame interview.
“It was emotions on both sides,” Moore said. “And our guys, I did see they had the flag and guys were waving it around and their guys charged us. So it’s emotion on both sides, it can’t happen. So rivalry games get heated, especially this one, it’s the biggest one in the country, so we’ve got to handle that better.”
