Elite 2024 QB Jadyn Davis sets Michigan visit
Four-star 2024 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School quarterback Jadyn Davis has been a fixture at Michigan over the past few months.
Davis will be back in Ann Arbor again this weekend, TheWolverine.com’s EJ Holland has confirmed, for Michigan’s game against arch rival Michigan State. The trip will he his fourth to Michigan since June, including one earlier this season for the Wolverines’ 56-10 win over Hawaii.
Jim Harbaugh and Co. have emerged as a major contender to land Davis, who ranks as the nation’s No. 16 overall prospect, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Along with Michigan, Clemson, Tennessee and North Carolina are among the teams pushing for the No. 3 junior quarterback in the country. He visited Tennessee last weekend, where he hung out with Vols legend and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning. And two weeks prior, he was at Clemson for his second visit there since this summer.

Michigan leads in the On3 RPM for Jadyn Davis
But it’s the Wolverines who are currently considered the leader to secure his commitment in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). That’s in large part driven by his relationship not only with head coach Jim Harbaugh, but also offensive coordinator Matt Weiss.
Weiss tripped to Charlotte over the weekend to see Davis and his family before driving four hours over to Rabun Gap Nacoochee, Georgia to watch Davis play in a big conference match-up.
That immediately made an impact on Davis. He couldn’t keep himself from cracking a grin.
“It meant the world, they saw us in school and then they made the four-hour trip to come see us here,” Davis told On3’s Jeremy Johnson. “That means a lot. They’ve let me know that I’m the priority. They show a lot of love. I’m friends with a lot of players on the team.”
