On300 defensive lineman Isaiah Neal offered by Michigan

As the calendar has flipped into 2022, Washington (D.C.) St. Frances Academy defensive lineman Isaiah Neal has seen his recruitment explode. Duke, Ole Miss, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech are among the schools that have entered the mix in the new year. And Thursday, Neal received another big offer when Michigan defensive line coach Mike Elston extended an offer on behalf of the Wolverines.
Neal is the No. 422 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 48 defensive lineman and the No. 4 junior prospect in the District of Columbia.
On3’s own rankings, though, are much higher on him. Neal checks in at the No. 204 prospect, No. 26 defensive lineman and No. 4 D.C. prospect.

The 6-foot-2, 260-pounder tripped to Ohio State this fall and is coming off visits to Duke and West Virginia in January. After previously playing at D.C. powerhouse Gonzaga College Prep, Isaiah Neal transferred to another powerhouse just up I-95 in Baltimore: St. Frances Academy.
St. Frances has been a prime recruiting hotspot for the Wolverines, who have signed four prospects from the school in the past three recruiting cycles. That includes four-star defensive lineman Derrick Moore, who inked with the Wolverines in December.
