2025 top-20 QB George MacIntyre visits Michigan

Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre spent the weekend on a visit to Michigan attending the Wolverines’ spring game. MacIntyre posted a few photos from his time in Ann Arbor Sunday afternoon.

MacIntyre is the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Tennessee. 

The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder holds several notable Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Vanderbilt with a narrow lead over Tennessee to land a commitment from MacIntyre.

This spring has been a busy one for MacIntyre. He started off the spring with visits to Georgia (March 14) and Clemson (March 15) before capping off the month with visits to LSU (March 25) and Alabama (March 28).

The visit to Ann Arbor was the first for MacIntyre but the Wolverines have been long involved in recruitment. Michigan was one of the first schools to offer MacIntyre as they extended their offer last June.

George MacIntyre currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $217K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Michigan hot on the recruiting trail

Michigan is one of the few teams to have a 2025 commitments already. The Wolverines have two in four-star cornerback Chris Ewald and linebacker Mantrez Walker.

While Michigan’s 2025 class is the future, the Wolverines 2024 class is one on the rise.

The Wolverines wrapped up the 2023 recruiting cycle with 25 signees and the No. 18 class in country. In that class, Michigan signed five players who were ranked as four-star recruits.

Following the commitment from four-star top-30 quarterback Jadyn Davis on Friday, Michigan has already equaled the amount of four-star recruits they signed in the 2023 cycle in their 2024 class. Michigan has the No. 5 class in the country and the No. 2 class in the Big Ten with 10 commitments so far.
