Gregg Glenn, 2022 4-star, commits to Michigan
Gregg Glenn, a 6-foot-7 power forward out of Pompano Beach (Fla.) Calvary Christian has committed to Michigan basketball for the class of 2022, he tells On3.
Glenn is the Wolverines’ third commitment of the class, following four-stars Tarris Reed and Dug McDaniel. Michigan is also targeting Jett Howard, Yohan Traore, Ernest Udeh Jr., among others.
Glenn ultimately chose the Michigan Wolverines over Georgia, Virginia Tech, USF, and Iona. He also received scholarship offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, among others.

“It felt like home to me,” Glenn said. “Everything about Michigan is developing you to be a great person. The fan base is great. Everything about the school is top-notch. They’re top 5 in everything they do.”

Additionally, Glenn has a close relationship with Michigan head coach Juwan Howard and his family. He’s even best friends with Howard’s son, Jett. “We are like real, real, real family. We are very close,” Glenn said. Gregg Glenn also says he’s recruiting Jett to come join him at Michigan: “I’m only recruiting Jett right now so he can come up there with me.”
What are Glenn’s expectations as a freshman?
“Just to come in and compete every day,” Glenn said. “Just show everyone who I really am. I just want to get better and work on my body and my shot.”
How does Glenn describe his game?
“I would describe my game as a do-it-all player. I’m versatile. I can do anything on the court that the coach needs me to do. I can defend the one through the five or play the one through the five. I’ll do all the little things.”
