2024 4-star TE Hogan Hansen commits to Michigan
Bellevue (Wash.) four-star tight end Hogan Hansen has announced his commitment to Michigan. He chose the Wolverines over multiple programs, including Oregon, Stanford and Washington.
Hansen is the No. 280 overall prospect and No. 17 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Washington.
“First and foremost I’d like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level, Secondly I’d like to thank my family for all the love and support they have gave me throughout this journey, Lastly I’d like to thank all my teammates and coaches at Bellevue as well as Tracy (F)ord, Marcus Griffin, and the FSP program for continuing to push me to become the player I am today,” Hansen wrote in a statement published to social media. “With that being said I’m excited to stay a Wolverine and announce my commitment to The University of Michigan!”

Following Hansen’s pledge, the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class now contains four prospects. The others are Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth four-star linebacker Mason Curtis, Avon (Ohio) four-star interior offensive lineman Luke Hamilton and Frankfurt (Germany) Choate Rosemary Hall interior offensive lineman Manuel Beigel. Both Hansen and Hamilton have chosen head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff within the last two weeks.
Hansen has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
