There were high expectations for Donaven McCulley entering the 2024 season and it seemed as though he was going to be a perfect fit for the offense Curt Cignetti runs. However, he left the program and now he’ll be heading to Ann Arbor to suit up for the Michigan Wolverines.

McCulley played his high school football at Lawrence North (Indianapolis, Indiana), where he was tabbed as the No. 181 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated as the No. 19 quarterback in that class and a four-star prospect.
