It’s been a busy weekend for 2024 Buford (Ga.) four-star EDGE KingJoseph Edwards. After visiting Georgia yesterday, he is on an unofficial visit at Michigan.

Edwards is currently on his first trip to Ann Arbor following a visit to Michigan State earlier today. While on campus, he put on the Wolverines’ iconic maize and blue uniform. He then shared a video of the experience.

Edwards later took a photo with head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Edwards, a 6-foot-4.5, 240 pass rusher, is ranked as the No. 35 overall prospect and No. 6 EDGE in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in Georgia.

If Harbaugh and his staff can land a commitment from Edwards, it would be a massive win for the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class. The group currently contains Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth four-star linebacker Mason Curtis and Choate Rosemary Hall defensive lineman Manuel Beigel, a Frankfurt, Germany native.

What to know about KingJoseph Edwards

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia has a commanding lead for Edwards’ commitment at 87.9%. Michigan’s odds are currently at less than 1% on the RPM.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Edwards currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $92K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
