Belleville (Mich.) four-star quarterback Bryce Underwood is visiting Michigan tonight for the Wolverines’ game against Michigan State. It marks his second trip to Ann Arbor since Sept. 24.

Underwood is the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The only prospects ranked ahead of Underwood in the On3 Consensus are Savannah (Ga.) Savannah Christian Prep four-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star offensive tackle David Sanders and Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County four-star EDGE Zayden Walker. Griffin is teammates with four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, a top 2024 Michigan target who is also visiting the Wolverines this weekend.

“We came away thinking no quarterback prospect had a stronger combination of on-field resume and physical ability than what Bryce Underwood has shown to this point,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote in August. “Underwood led his Belleville (Mich.) High team to a state title as a freshman, while completing 62 percent of his passes for 2,888 yards and 39 touchdowns against just four interceptions. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder showed some innate instincts and feel for the passing game as a freshman, in addition to some encouraging mobility and overall athleticism. To make things even more impressive, Underwood should technically be a 2026 prospect. He turns 15 years-old this week.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Underwood has an On3 NIL Valuation of $124K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
