Mason Graham on Michigan national title: 'Wasn't scared of the play dropping off'

Mason Graham knew that Michigan had what it took to win the national title during the 2023-24 season. The former Wolverines’ defensive tackle took a look at his teammates and the depth chart and just knew play would be sustained.
Anytime Graham subbed out, there were more guys ready to step up. Graham excelled during his three years and actually wasn’t even an All-American until this past season.
Being able to play at that high of a level for three years is certainly what attracts teams to Graham in this year’s draft. When looking back on the perfect season, Graham knew he and his teammates had what it took.
“I kind of knew (early on), just, you know, we had a lot of depth,” Graham told On3. “Going into that season, you know, we had just on the D line, I’m talking we had five, six guys that could, you know, really play and I wasn’t scared to, you know, if I was too tired to step out, you know, I wasn’t scared of the play dropping off. So, yeah, just had a bunch of guys all bought into the same goal.”

Following another win over Ohio State in The Game, Graham and the Wolverines shutout Iowa in the Big Ten Championship. From there, Graham and the Michigan defense were key in wins over Alabama and a convincing win over Washington in the national championship.
Head & Shoulders is hyped to introduce the next group of greats to our NFL partnership roster. We know that in order for athletes to compete against the best, they need to be at their best. That means making every practice count, so they are constantly improving their game. The same goes with their hair wash routine. Head & Shoulders knows that throughout the season athletes put their scalp through a lot, with long sweaty practices and games in a tight helmet.
That’s why, with every wash, athletes reach for Head & Shoulders. Not only does it fight flakes and scalp irritation, but their game day cut is always looking fresh. Consistency is key on and off the field. Just as athletes show up powerful in every practice to go get game ready, they’re using Head & Shoulders in every wash to fight dandruff and keep it from coming back.
“Mason Graham, gosh, he’s so fun,” NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah said. “I watched him on tape, and I fell in love with him. I got a chance to go to their game against Oregon, and there are a bunch of personnel guys and GMs down on the field, and we’re walking down there, and I see Mason Graham walk by. And, of course, he’s next to [defensive tackle] Kenneth Grant, his teammate, who looks like a cartoon character, like he looks like an adonis, how big he is.”
