Michigan availability report released ahead of matchup vs. Bowling Green
Michigan football released an official availability report ahead of a showdown with MAC foe Bowling Green on Saturday night. A number of Wolverines will be out for the game with six players questionable.
Out for the game are wideout Darrius Clemons, cornerback Amorion Walker, safety Rod Moore, safety Zeke Berry, defensive back Ja’Den McBurrows, running back C.J. Stokes, running back Benjamin Hall and defensive lineman Cameron Brandt. All told, eight Michigan players won’t play against the Falcons on Saturday, at least.
Questionable for Saturday night are cornerback Will Johnson, safety Makari Paige, quarterback Jack Tuttle, running back Tavierre Dunlap, defensive back German Green and wideout Peyton O’Leary.
Despite the injuries, Michigan is still expected to win in dominant fashion against an overmatched Bowling Green squad.
Some Harbaugh-on-Harbaugh trash talk preceded Saturday’s game
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has been getting some tough love from his father — Jack Harbaugh — ahead of Saturday’s game against Bowling Green.
Jim shared with WXYZ that Jack has been trash talking him leading up to this weekend’s game. Jack Harbaugh played at Bowling Green and spent time as an assistant coach there, and he’s been talking a big game about the Falcons all week.

Bowling Green and Michigan will face off Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Ann Arbor.
“It’s begun. It was a couple of weeks ago. I mean, it’s, ‘Bowling Green’s coming. The Falcons are coming. And they’re going to kick your butts,’” Jim Harbaugh said. “So he’s getting us ready.”
Jim Harbaugh obviously doesn’t expect Michigan to lose this weekend, but he did say that he is impressed by what he has seen from Bowling Green on film.
The Falcons are 1-1 on the season with a loss to Liberty and a win over Eastern Illinois. They finished 6-7 (5-3 in the MAC) a season ago.
“You turn on the tape and you watch it – Scot Loeffler’s got a heck of a team,” Jim Harbaugh said. “The offense – their throw game is tremendous. I think there are some things that we can glean from it. Done a really nice job in the running game, too. Very similar to our offense. Hopefully that’s an advantage for our defense. They’re going to see a lot of the same kinds of concepts and gap schemes in their running game. But it’s well coordinated, well called. Scot’s a great coach, and we know we’re going to get their very best.”
