Michigan fan trolls Ohio State over losing streak in 'The Game' at WWE event
The trolling between Michigan and Ohio State football fans knows no limits. As one of the most heated rivalries in all of college football, it means everything for these two fan bases when they get a stranglehold of one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports. The Michigan Wolverines are currently enjoying one of their most dominant stretches in the rivalry in the past two decades, having won three straight.
And on Saturday night at a WWE show in Cleveland, a Michigan fan did not hesitate to jump on the opportunity to troll Buckeye fans in their own state.
Michigan got their third straight win over Ohio State this November, thanks to a game-sealing interception from Rod Moore with 25 seconds left. Running back Blake Corum was once again the hero for Wolverine fans, rolling up 88 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Michigan star tight end Colston Loveland hauled in five catches for 88 yards.
Ohio State got a spectacular effort from their superstar receiver, Marvin Harrison, Jr. He hauled in five catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Kyle McCord completed 18 of 30 passes for 271 yards while tossing in two touchdowns and two interceptions. Following that game, McCord decided to enter the transfer portal and move onto Syracuse in the offseason.
In the 2022 version of ‘The Game’, Michigan blew out Ohio State to the tune of a 45-23 beatdown. The Wolverines simply took things over in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Buckeyes 21-3 in the final quarter to ensure victory. Michigan running back Donovan Edwards shredded the Ohio State defense to the tune of 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 22 carries. He ripped off an 85-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that proved to be icing on the cake for the Wolverines in the win.
