Michigan Wolverines land commitment from 4-star TE Brady Prieskorn
Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn has announced his commitment to Michigan. He chose the Wolverines over Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State, among others.
Prieskorn is the No. 66 overall prospect and No. 5 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Michigan.
On3 rates Prieskorn higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 1 player in Michigan
“They are close to home and they have great coaches that will help develop me,” Prieskorn told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 13. “I have a good connection with them.”
Prior to his pledge, the 6-foot-5, 220-pound recruit has taken five visits to Ann Arbor. His most recent trip came on March 18.
“The biggest takeaway (from the visit) was being with those guys,” Prieskorn told Zach Libby of The Wolverine. “It was fun because I haven’t really done that at any other place. I know if I went there and they went there, we would have a good relationship because they’re all good dudes.”
“It was sweet to have all of us together and to see what it’ll be like if all of us went there. We went to get some food and hang out so that was nice.”

Prieskorn is the latest blue-chip recruit to choose Michigan
Prieskorn is now one of the top players in Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class. Head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff currently have commitments from three top-100 players in Prieskorn, Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall.
The Michigan native is also the Wolverines’ third pledge this month. Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague and Austin (Texas) Vandegrift four-star offensive tackle Blake Frazier are the others.
While speaking with Simmons in February, Prieskorn shared that the success of Michigan’s tight ends during the Harbaugh era and the Wolverines running some 12 personnel sets contributed to his interest in the program. He also built a strong bond with tight ends coach Grant Newsome, who previously played for Michigan.
“I’ve gotten close to him a lot and he’s a really good dude,” Prieskorn said. “He’s a really good coach too. He’s gonna have a bright future.”
