Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh returned to Michigan at the end of July, his third trip to Ann Arbor since the start of June.

The Wolverines have continued to make an impact on the 6-foot, 175-pounder throughout his process and are now trending heavily for his pledge, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Since June, five picks have been logged in favor of the Big Ten program landing his commitment.

Marsh’s latest visit served as another reminder why the Wolverines have emerged as a potential landing spot for him at the college level.

“Some of the messages they gave me were that it’s a winning program,” Marsh told The Wolverine following the visit. “It’s somewhere where they’ll get you to the next level. Also, they are changing some things and getting more explosive in the passing game.”

Co-offensive coordinator Ron Bellamy has been leading Michigan’s charge for Marsh. U-M received an official visit from the wideout in June, as did Texas, Kentucky and USC. While a date is yet to be set, Marsh has been eyeing an August commitment date, and signs are pointing toward the Maize and Blue.

Marsh is the No. 62 overall prospect and No. 11 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 13 player in Texas.

Wolverines charging for Top-10 recruiting class

Michigan quietly had a very successful month of July on the recruiting trail. Only two commitments came through the door, but both were via top-100 prospects.

Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped to the Wolverines from Notre Dame on July 8. Just an hour later, Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh four-star tight end Andrew Olesh made the call and joined the 2025 class.

Taylor is the nation’s No. 59 recruit and No. 6 safety, while Olesh checks in at No. 97 overall and No. 3 at the TE position. They now highlight the class alongside Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall, a top-60 recruit and top-five DL who pledged back in April.

Montgomery Village (Md.) Gonzaga four-star safety Kainoa Winston is just outside the top 100 overall, making for an impressive tandem in the secondary alongside Taylor. Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback commit Carter Smith has continued to improve his stock and is now the No. 16 QB in the cycle.

Of the 15 commits in Michigan’s class, 12 are four-stars, as of Aug. 5. The class currently ranks No. 13 in the nation and No. 3 in the Big Ten, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The addition of Marsh would provide a major push as head coach Sherrone Moore and Co. gun for a top-10 pledge list.
