Michigan's Jett Howard leaves Minnesota game with ankle injury

Michigan star freshman guard Jett Howard left Sunday’s game against Minnesota in the first half with an ankle injury.
He was ruled out for the remainder of the game at halftime.
Howard was injured at the 2:16 mark in the first half while defending a backdoor cut on defense. Jamison Battle made a cut towards the basket but Howard was in good position on defense to get a hand on the ball. But as he tried to secure the steal, he rolled his ankle stepping on Battle’s shoe and fell to the ground.
He stayed on the ground for a minute before being helped off the floor. He was unable to put any weight on his ankle as he was brought to the bench.
