Michigan has extended an offer to eighth grade quarterback Julian Lewis out of Carrollton, Ga.

The Wolverines are the first team to offer the middle school student. He also holds offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Morgan State, Ole Miss and Penn State.

He has also gone on visits to Clemson and Georgia. He told Joseph Hastings of Clemson Sports that atmosphere in South Carolina for a Tigers game in November he attended was “lit.”

“Overall, Clemson is cool,” Lewis said. “The atmosphere was amazing. All the coaches were cool. Coach Swinney talked a lot about motivation and they preach academics out there. I have a good connection with some of the coaches, like Tajh Boyd.”

Lewis already has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11,500. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
