There are lucrative NIL offers, then there is what Michigan is reportedly prepared to offer LSU quarterback commit Bryce Underwood.

According to a report from The Wolverine, Michigan boosters have a mega-NIL offer on the table for the five-star quarterback prospect. How mega?

“The number I’ve heard is around $10.5 million over four years,” reported On3’s EJ Holland. “That number was confirmed by a source to our team reporter Anthony Broome a couple of days ago.”

Michigan has continued its pursuit of Underwood for quite some time, though things certainly appear to be heating up more of late.

Bryce Underwood would be a significant piece should the Wolverines manage to land him; he’s currently rated as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2025 class, while he’s very close to a consensus No. 1 recruit in the class across all services.

It won’t be easy to pull him away from the Tigers.

The Wolverine reports that Bryce Underwood was on an official visit to LSU over the weekend for the Alabama game and “had a terrific time in Baton Rouge.”

Added LSU insider Shea Dixon following that visit:

“From everything we’ve heard between the LSU side and the Underwood family, it went as well as they could have. There doesn’t seem to be any panic coming from LSU sources as Bryce and his family continue to remain on the same path with the staff relative to his commitment and decision to sign on December 4. Obviously, on a weekend like this, when you are a few weeks out from signing day, everything is discussed. After the Underwood’s departure, LSU’s sources hold the same confidence across recent weeks as Michigan’s push increased.”

But there is at least one interesting wrinkle that could work in Michigan’s favor.

Former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions is now working at Belleville (Mich.), the high school home of Underwood. Stalions’ affinity for Michigan is obvious; will that have any impact on Underwood?

Bryce Underwood has been committed to LSU since Jan. 6.
