Michigan RB Cole Cabana plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Michigan Wolverines running back Cole Cabana is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal. Cabana announced his plans to enter on Friday morning.
During the 2023 season, the highly-touted running back only saw two carries on the season, amassing six yards for the Wolverines. He didn’t see the field in 2024.
Cabana played high school football at Dexter (MI), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 202 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The running back gained interest from a ton of other schools as a recruit, like Michigan State, Louisville, and West Virginia. It remains to be seen if the interest will remain as he enters the transfer portal.

“Michigan starting wide receiver Tyler Morris is expected to enter the transfer portal, a source tells @CBSSports/@247Sports,” Matt Zenitz posted on X. “Former top-100 recruit with 39 career catches.”
Morris has been with the program for three seasons. All in all, he’s amassed 39 career catches, 470 receiving yards and three touchdowns. This past season was his best, as he produced 23 catches for 248 yards and two touchdowns.
Morris played high school football at Plainfield East (IL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 157 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
As a recruit, Morris caught the attention of many big-brand schools, from Notre Dame to Penn State. It’ll be interesting to see if there’s still some interest there, or if he’s headed to an unexpected team after spending some time in the transfer portal. Regardless, he’ll be hoping to make a larger impact, wherever he ends up.
