Michigan rises in On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings
Michigan has been one of the hottest teams on the recruiting trail this cycle. The Wolverines continued their successful streak on Tuesday.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff did it by landing a commitment from Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn. His decision elevated the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class to No. 5 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Michigan, whose class also ranks No. 2 in the Big Ten, rose one spot from No. 6. The Wolverines now have pledges from six top-200 recruits.
“They are close to home and they have great coaches that will help develop me,” Prieskorn told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 13. “I have a good connection with them.”
Prieskorn is the No. 66 overall prospect and No. 5 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Michigan
On3 rates Prieskorn higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 1 player in Michigan

March was arguably even stronger for Michigan. Over 10 days, the Wolverines notched pledges from a pair of top-100 recruits in Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall.
“The fanbase is eager to win it all and bring it back to what Michigan football was at one point,” Davis told Simmons on March 31. “You can’t really get much better than the winningest program in college football history.”
With Prieskorn in the fold, Michigan now has commitments from two of the 11 tight ends in the country. Bellevue (Wash.) four-star Hogan Hansen chose the Wolverines on Dec. 8.
Other blue-chip recruits to commit to the Wolverines include Harper Woods (Mich.) four-star safety Jacob Oden, Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth four-star linebacker Mason Curtis, Avon (Ohio) four-star interior offensive lineman Luke Hamilton and Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier four-star defensive lineman Ted Hammond.
“We are about to build a national championship class,” Oden told Zach Libby of The Wolverine after Davis’ commitment.
