EA Sports College Football 25 is back, and Michigan will be the defending national champions in the game’s first installment in ten years. Now, we know EA’s full roster player ratings for Michigan at the game’s initial launch.

After winning the National Championship last season in the last installment of the four-team College Football Playoff, Jim Harbaugh left Michigan and Sherrone Moore took over as head coach. Michigan set a program record with 13 players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, too, meaning the roster has undergone at least a bit of a transformation.

Still, the Wolverines’ ratings are pretty high in EA Sports College Football 25 throughout the roster, with a few players standing out. The biggest one is cover athlete Donovan Edwards, who had just six carries in the National Championship Game vs. Washington but still erupted for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Alex Orji is set to take over at quarterback, and he’ll have the luxury of having a very strong defense playing behind him.

After a perfect 15-0, national title-winning season in 2023, Michigan has high expectations again in 2024 despite all of the turnover. It won’t come easy in the new-look Big Ten, with Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA joining the fold. Still, Michigan’s expectations won’t change. They start the year against Fresno State before hosting Texas in Week 2.
