The Michigan Wolverines once again had yet another extremely successful season during the 2022-2023 college football season. They once again find themselves in the College Football Playoff. The Wolverines are set to square off against the TCU Horned Frogs on New Year’s Eve in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. On Friday night, the Wolverines unveiled the uniforms they’ll be wearing against the Horned Frogs on Saturday night.

Check them out below.

They’ll be rocking their iconic Maize and Blue winged helmets. Then, Michigan will be wearing the navy blue uniforms with the yellow numbers and accessories, as well as the yellow pants. It’s a massive stage yet again for the Wolverines, as they’ll be making their second College Football Playoff appearance in two years. That’s never an easy thing to do when you’re in the same conference as the mighty Ohio State Buckeyes.

Michigan has soundly defeated Ohio State in back-to-back seasons, something they haven’t done in a really, really long time. Wolverines’ fans should be enjoying every second of it. The Michigan offensive line has been one of the most dominant units in the country and they’ve helped clear the path for one of the nation’s best ground attacks, too.

While Blake Corum is shut down for the rest of the 2022-2023 season, he still had a spectacular 2022 season, rushing 247 times for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns. He’s one of the most dominant running backs in the country and it’ll be interesting to see what he decides on his future.

In his place, Michigan sophomore running back Donovan Edwards has shined and in a big way. In his past two games as the feature running back, Edwards has shredded defenses to the tune of over 400 rushing yards and 3 total touchdowns. He’s a superstar in the making, whether or not Corum returns to Ann Arbor.

There’s no question Michigan will once again need an excellent performance from Edwards if they want to advance past TCU. It’ll be fun to see how the Wolverines perform in the College Football Playoff this year.
