The Michigan Wolverines enjoyed one of the best seasons in quite some time during the 2021-2022 college football season. They won the Big Ten Championship for the first time since 2004. Not only that, but they also defeated their bitter rivals, the Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 42-27. It was only the third time the Wolverines have defeated Ohio State in the past two decades.
On Friday night, Michigan unveiled their impressive 2021 Big Ten Championship rings. But they have a few special twists. On the ring, it has the Big Ten Championship trophy, the year, the name on the side, and the College Football Playoff logo on the other side. But near the top of the ring, it has the scores from the Big Ten Championship beatdown against the Iowa Hawkeyes and–the final score of this year’s game against Ohio State.
Take a look at them below.
The image of the College Football Playoff Semifinal on the trophy might bring back awful memories of the Georgia game, but the Bulldogs went on to become the eventual national champions. The rest of these rings are incredibly sharp and have beautifully done details. The Big Ten Championship trophy on the front of the face is beautifully done with the block M.
Michigan Football also released a video displaying the rings in even clearer detail on Friday night, with the block M shining in the light along with the other diamonds on the ring.

The rings are incredibly sharp and the Michigan fan base has every right to continue to enjoy the incredible season they had during the 2021-2022 campaign.
Now, Jim Harbaugh and company will try to do it again during the 2022-2023 season. Much of the talk leading into preseason for the Wolverines will surround the starting quarterback competition between incumbent starter Cade McNamara and the youthful but talented, J.J. McCarthy.
