There’s still a ton of movement and things that need to be addressed for the Michigan Wolverines coaching staff following their departure of national championship-winning head coach Jim Harbaugh. And on a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, newly appointed head coach Sherrone Moore addressed his staffing going forward.

There is a report floating around that Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter will be leaving the program to join Harbaugh on the Los Angeles Chargers coaching staff. And Moore provided some more detail on said speculation while revealing what he’s doing to make accommodations for the possible Minter move.

“Yeah, I mean, we haven’t replaced the defensive coordinator yet,” said Moore. “We’ve got a few names and people in the in the boat to do that, and we’ve got a great staff. We have people here on the staff that we’re trying we’re to keep; we’re going to try and retain. So the staff is starting to shape out, bit by bit, every day. And I think by next week or so, we’ll have that in place.”
