Michigan’s marching band used its halftime performance on Saturday to troll Big Ten rival Ohio State. The band lined up to look like a person playing beer pong. Then, a large ping pong ball with Ohio State’s logo appeared, missing the “cups.” Shortly after that, another ball with Michigan’s logo on it went into the cup.

The best part of the troll by the band is that Michigan and Ohio State aren’t even playing each other in that game. Michigan is facing Northwestern in Week 8 and led 10-7 at halftime. Ohio State faces off at Indiana at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight.

Michigan and Ohio State will face off to wrap up the regular season

Ohio State is currently 5-1 on the season. Michigan is 6-0. When the two teams face off to wrap up the regular season in late November, it is possible that a trip to the College Football Playoff is on the line.

Even though the two teams don’t face off for over a month, Michigan’s band is already trying to build intrigue for the important game against Ohio State.

While Michigan remains undefeated, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum doesn’t see the Wolverines taking down Ohio State this season.

“This is definitely the year that Jim Harbaugh will beat Northwestern, but that’s as far as I’m going to go,” he said. “He’s done a really good job. Give him credit. He was on the hottest seat in the country and now he’s still alive. They’ve got Michigan State next week. He’s got Penn State and, of course, Ohio State at the end of the year. Right now, I’ve seen too much football from the Big Ten to believe that Michigan can beat Ohio State.

“They’re going to have a good season and he’ll save his job. But I still don’t believe Michigan is going to beat Ohio State at the end of the year.”
