Middle Tennessee RB Frank Peasant announces plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Middle Tennessee running back Frank Peasant announced on social media Wednesday that he plans to enter the transfer portal.
“I would like to thank you all for your support these last 5 years,” Peasant wrote on Instagram. “I want to share that I am officially entering the transfer portal as a Graduate Transfer. This decision has not come easily, as my time at MTSU has been filled with valuable experiences and incredible memories. I am grateful for the support of my coaches, teammates, and friends who have made this journey meaningful.
“As I look toward the future, I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead. I believe that this change will help me grow both academically and athletically, allowing me to pursue my goals in a different environment.”
Peasant added: “Thank you to everyone at MTSU for your guidance and encouragement. I will carry the lessons I’ve learned here with me as I embark on this next chapter. I’m looking forward to seeing where this path takes me!”
Peasant arrived at Middle Tennessee as the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 212 prospect from the state of Florida in the 2020 class. He emerged as a three-star prospect at Escambia High School, where he starred at running back and linebacker.
