Middle Tennessee State football staffer arrested for indecent exposure
Middle Tennessee State football staffer Nicholas Woodley was arrested for indecent exposure, according to a report from News Channel 5 Nashville.
Woodley allegedly hid his genitalia behind a Target shopping basket and showed it to a juvenile girl. He was arrested inside the Murfreesboro Target, according to court documents.
Police identified him via surveillance video, per the report.
Woodley allegedly told a young girl he “liked her outfit” and then removed the basket, thereby exposing himself. He then returned to the store October 15, the day after the alleged incident, and staff escorted him to the front of the store and he tried to run away.
Woodley was charged with resisting arrest. MTSU athletic director Chris Massaro released a statement.
“Nic Woodley has been suspended as we continue gathering information on the incident,” Massaro said. “We are disappointed and take these matters very seriously.”
