2024 LB Brady Pretzlaff commits to Minnesota

Gaylord (Mich.) Gaylord/voc. Bldg. linebacker Brady Pretzlaff announced his commitment to Minnesota on Thursday. He chose the Golden Gophers over offers from Central Michigan and Illinois.

Pretzlaff is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus or the 2024 On300. He is 6-foot-3 and weighs 215 pounds.

Minnesota’s 2024 recruiting class now contains two players. Detroit Lakes (Minn.) Detroit Lakes Senior three-star linebacker Mason Carrier previously chose the Golden Gophers on June 19.

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s 2023 class contains 21 commits. The group currently ranks No. 43 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 9 in the Big Ten. 

Walled Lake (Mich.) Walled Lake Western four-star running back Darius Taylor is the top senior pledged to head coach P.J. Fleck and his staff. He is the No. 273 overall prospect and No. 17 running back in the 2023 On300.

Pretzlaff has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
