2023 defensive lineman Gabriel Moore commits to Mississippi State

Louisville (Miss.) three-star defensive lineman Gabriel Moore has committed to Mississippi State, he announced on Saturday.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder chose the Bulldogs over offers from Troy, Arkansas State, Charlotte and a handful of other programs.
Moore is the No. 880 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 98 defensive lineman and the No. 19 senior recruit in the state of Mississippi.

On3, however, is significantly higher on him than other recruiting services, as shown in the Industry Comparison. Although he wasn’t ranked in the most recent On300, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 68 defensive lineman and the No. 13 player in Mississippi.
Moore is the Bulldogs’ 18th commitment in the 2023 cycle, joining a class that currently ranks No. 29 nationally in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
