Whittemore on why he flipped to Mississippi State
“I think the fact that they have been on me from the beginning and even through my commitment to Florida, they continued to recruit me hard,” Whittemore said. “I really like their offense and how they spread the ball around, and think it fits a player like me who can get open. All of the coaches are there to win football games and that is it.”
Starkville is a great place for college football
“I really enjoyed the atmosphere,” Whittemore said. “The fans know their football. Everyone is super welcoming, and I think it is a great place to be a college football player.”
Strong relationships with coaching staff + Miss St. plans for Creed Whittemore
“I am closest with coach Spurrier, the receivers coach,” Whittemore said. “Right now, coming in, they want me to start outside. But in that offense you can really move around, which I like. But right now I’ll be at outside receiver.”
