ATH Zakari Tillman commits to Mississippi State
Florence (Miss.) athlete Zakari Tillman announced his commitment to Mississippi State on Friday night. He is the Bulldogs’ third commit of the day after Tupelo (Miss.) three-star offensive tackle Zay Alexander and Hattiesburg (Miss.) three-star linebacker Tabias Hinton.
The 6-foot-3, 220 pound prospect is the 12th member of Mississippi State’s 2023 recruiting class. The Bulldogs’ group currently ranks No. 39 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the SEC.
Tillman is Mississippi State’s fourth commitment this month following Alexander, Hinton and Nashville (Tenn.) Franklin Road Academy three-star Joe Crocker. He is also the Bulldogs’ third athlete pledge alongside Bay Springs (Miss.) three-star Ty Jones and Itta Bena (Miss.) three-star Dante Kelly.
Last month, Mississippi State landed commitments from Kelly, Norcross (Ga.) three-star wide receiver Nakai Poole, Clarksdale (Miss.) three-star safety Kelley Jones and Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove three-star cornerback Jaylen Aborom. These decisions came over a nine-day period.
