Auburn transfer DL Wilky Denaud commits to Mississippi State
Former Auburn defensive lineman Wilky Denaud has committed to Mississippi State, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Denaud hit the portal after just one season with the Tigers, redshirting in 2023 as a true freshman. Denaud did not appear in any games before opting to use his redshirt.
The 6-foot-4, 295-pound DL faced legal issues early this past season. On Sept. 1, Denaud was arrested and charged with larceny. Denaud reportedly stole a scooter valued at $650. He was released only hours after being arrested after he posted his $1,500 bond.
Wilky Denaud played high school football at Fort Pierce (FL) John Carroll, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 407 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Denaud is the 14th player to transfer to Mississippi State during this window. Under new head coach Jeff Lebby’s leadership, Mississippi State is ranked No. 58 in On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings.
