Four-Star WR Braylon Burnside commits to Mississippi State
Four-star wide receiver Braylon Burnside of Starkville (MS) High announced his commitment to Mississippi State Tuesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 205 pounder chose the Bulldogs over Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
Burnside on why he chose Mississippi State
“It’s always been a dream playing in the hometown since a little one, I’m from Mississippi, Starkville at that , why not go outside and play in your backyard.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“Bump is the main guy, but the coaching staff, every time I came to State to visit, it always felt like home. They plan on using me all over. I can do it all.”
What it means to stay home
“It means a lot, I don’t have to take care of them (my family) from another place, I can take care of them from the backyard.”
Burnside ranks as the No. 215 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 36 wide receiver and the No. 8 player in the state of Mississippi.
