Four-Star WR JJ Harrell commits to Mississippi State
Four-star wide receiver JJ Harrell of Sardis (MS) North Panola High announced his commitment to Mississippi State Tuesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-2, 185 pounder chose the Bulldogs over LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss. He was previously committed to Tennessee.
Harrell on why he chose Mississippi State
“It was a no brainer, even after I committed to another school they never gave up. I prayed on it and God led me to making this decision. Coach Bump and Coach Arnett really believe in me, committing was the only way to go about it.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Harrell
“It’s crazy because I have a relationship with everyone on the staff but I’m very close with Coach Bump, he’s a Mississippi guy and he understands where I come from. They are using me as a playmaker, they are going to use me everywhere in the offense because they know I can make plays all I need is the football.”
What it means to stay home
“It means the world to me and my family. My whole family is Mississippi State fans so I know it’s very emotional to them knowing I’m about to play for State.”
