Mississippi State guard Shakeel Moore enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Shakeel Moore is back in the transfer portal, On3’s Jamie Shaw and Matt Zenitz have learned.
Moore, who played at Mississippi State this season, is in the portal for the second time in as many years. He arrived at Mississippi State after a year with NC State, and he became a starter with the Bulldogs. In 34 games, including 29 starts, he averaged 8.7 points and 3.0 rebounds to help Mississippi State to an 18-16 overall record and an 8-10 mark in SEC play.
Out of high school, Moore was a four-star recruit and a top-10 combo guard prospect in the nation from the Class of 2020, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
