Louisville transfer WR Kevin Coleman visiting Mississippi State Bulldogs
Louisville transfer wide receiver Kevin Coleman is searching for his new home in the portal. On Wednesday evening, he announced on his Twitter page that he’s visiting the Mississippi State Bulldogs. This season for the Cardinals, he hauled in 26 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns.
This is Kevin Coleman’s second stint in the transfer portal. He was previously recruited to Jackson State to play for Deion Sanders before he transferred to Louisville. He spent one season there and was the SWAC Freshman of the Year in 2022.
In that 2022 season, he had 33 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns. Coleman also averaged 25.3 yards per kick return on special teams. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Kevin Coleman played high school football at St. Mary’s (MO), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 71 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
