Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach has been known to have extremely high standards for his players during his extensive college football coaching career. Last week, he said he was worried his wide receivers’ kids would have T-Rex arms because they were so bad at catching the football. This week against the Auburn Tigers, Leach was once again displeased with the play of his wide receivers. So, he decided to fold up their chairs on the sidelines, because he felt they didn’t deserve to sit.
Check out the video below.
While his team didn’t play perfect, Leach should still be happy his team pulled off a win in the SEC
Mississippi State was able to squeak past Auburn 39-33 in an overtime thriller. It was a wild finish to the game and the Bulldogs had to battle back to force overtime. So, clearly, he shouldn’t have been that upset because his team survived.

Leach’s quarterback, Will Rogers, broke two of Dak Prescott’s records on Saturday night. Not only did Rogers break Prescott’s all-time passing touchdown record, but he also broke his career passing yardage record.
Rogers completed 42 of his 59 passing attempts for 357 yards, while tossing in three touchdowns and just one interception.

Rara Thomas hauled in six catches for 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the winning effort for the Bulldogs. He led all Mississippi State receivers on Saturday night.
While Leach might have been displeased with the performance of his wide receivers, as the saying goes, a win is a win in big-time college football. Any given Saturday crazy things can happen to teams across the college football landscape. And while things might not have been as perfect as he would have liked, pulling out a win in the SEC is never easy.
With the win, Mississippi State moved to 6-3 overall this season. Next Saturday, they’ll face the Georgia Bulldogs.
