Mississippi State announces schedule change for football
Mississippi State football announced a significant addition to the 2023 schedule, according to a press release on Tuesday.
For the first time in history, the Bulldogs will face Western Michigan University.
The matchup between the two schools will take place on October 7, 2023, at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
The matchup replaces MSU’s previously announced game on October 7, 2023, at Tulane. The Bulldogs will instead play the Green Wave on September 11, 2032, in New Orleans.
Mississippi State’s other non-conference opponents in 2023 include Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 2), Arizona (Sept. 9) and Southern Miss (Nov. 18). All four of MSU’s non-conference matchups in 2023 will be played at Davis Wade Stadium.

While the college football season has been over for just around a month now, it feels like the offseason is now strolling around due to the coaching carousel and the transfer portal.
