Mississippi State guard Debreasha Powe is entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from On3’s Robbie Faulk. She spent three years with the Bulldogs.

Powe was a starter in each of those three seasons, racking up 98 starts amid 99 total appearances. She was productive throughout.

During the 2024-25 campaign, Debreasha Powe recorded 8.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. She also chipped in 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks per contest, proving capable of filling up the stat sheet on any given night.

She is a sharp-shooter from deep. In her career, Powe boasts a 37.1% shooting percentage from beyond the arc. And that’s after going just 30.2% from downtown as a freshman.

She’s also done it on volume, so it’s no fluke. Powe made 66 3-pointers as a sophomore and 68 as a junior. She’s also a career 77.6% free-throw shooter.

For all of her contributions during the regular season, Debreasha Powe was really limited in this year’s NCAA Tournament. She turned in five points, a rebound, an assist and a steal in a win over Cal. Then she notched three rebounds, two points and an assist in a loss to USC.

But she had much bigger games throughout the season. She scored a season-high 19 points in a win over Texas A&M, doing so on 7-of-12 shooting, including 5-of-9 from 3-point range.

Debreasha Powe also went 4-of-6 from downtown in a game against No. 15 Tennessee. The Bulldogs lost, but Powe scored 16 points in the losing effort.

Bottom line: Someone will be getting a productive starter in the transfer portal. Debreasha Powe has proven that.

LSU’s Last-Tear Poa enters portal

LSU guard Last-Tear Poa has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Talia Goodman reported on Wednesday. Poa spent the past three seasons with the Tigers after transferring in from Northwest Florida State as a JUCO player ahead of 2022-23 as LSU went on to win the national championship.

This past season in 2024-25, Poa appeared in 30 games and made 15 starts. She averaged 2.0 points and 1.9 assists across 12.8 minutes per game as the Tigers advanced to the Elite Eight.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Poa attended UC Senior Secondary College Lake Ginnindera for her high school years. She was unranked as a recruit before opting to spend the first year of her college career at the JUCO level to hopefully garner more attention.

On3’s Chandler Vessels also contributed to this report.
