North Texas OL transfer Ethan Miner commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State has landed some help in the trenches out of the transfer portal as former North Texas offensive lineman Ethan Miner announced his commitment to the Bulldogs on Thursday morning.
Miner began his career at Arkansas State and spent three years down in Jonesboro with the Red Wolves before deciding to join up with the Mean Green for last season. Now, Miner will move on once again, this time parlaying a year of successful plat at UNT into a spot with Mississippi State and new offensive coordinator-turned-head coach Jeff Lebby. Perhaps a booming senior season is in the works.
Before his collegiate career, Miner played high school football at the Kingswood-Oxford school in West Hartford, CT, where he was a three-star recruit in the 2019 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated as the No. 2,911 overall player and the No. 17 prospect out of in his cycle. Plus, Miner even helped lead his team to the Mark Conroy Bowl, the championship game among private schools in Connecticut, as a senior.
Here was Miner’s Twitter post with the news:
