Bryant played in only four games for the Longhorns this past season. He had a minimal role during his overall time with the team, recording only two tackles in that span.

Bryant played high school football at Southaven (MS), where he was a four-star prospect in the 2022 class. He ranked as the No. 305 overall player and No. 37 defensive lineman in the cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 6-foot-2 defensive lineman played his most games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, appearing in seven contests, including the Big 12 Championship. He ranks as the No. 132 defensive lineman in On3’s Transfer Portal Player Rankings.

Bryant is the fourth player that Vanderbilt has brought in through the transfer portal alongside players such as offensive lineman alongside Gunner Givens from Virginia Tech. However, they have also already lost 13 players.
