2024 5-star WR Ryan Wingo visits in-state Missouri

Saint Louis (Mo.) University five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo was back in Columbia this week as Missouri received a visit from the elite in-state receiver.
Wingo made his way back to Missouri on Tuesday, at least his sixth trip to campus. It is a major recruiting week around the country, and the Tigers appeared to be taking advantage of it.
The 6-foot-1.5, 210-pound Wingo officially visited Missouri back in June in addition to Georgia, Michigan and Texas. He is the No. 24 overall prospect and No. 7 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Missouri.
‘Chatter’ centers around Texas & Missouri
“Entering the summer, Tennessee looked to be the team to beat. The Vols are still very much in the mix, and the SEC program in Knoxville is expected to receive an official visit in the coming months, but Texas and Missouri are the schools now with the most chatter around them,” On3 Directory of Recruiting Chad Simmons wrote earlier this month.

“. . .Eliah Drinkwitz would love nothing more than to keep Wingo home. The Longhorns though, one source feels, has become the team to beat entering fall visits. This one is expected to go into December.”
Wingo currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $228K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Texas leads the way in Wingo’s recruitment with a 34.0% chance to receive his commitment. Tennessee, Notre Dame, Georgia and Missouri are all in the mix in what has been a very tight battle.
