College basketball insider reveals head coach candidates for Missouri
On Friday afternoon, Missouri fired men’s head basketball coach Cuonzo Martin. The Tigers finished the year with a 12-21 record this season, finishing 12th in the SEC. Even before getting into conference play, the Tigers struggled, having bad losses to Missouri-Kansas City alongside a blowout loss to their old school Big 12 rival, Kansas.
They’ll be looking for a new head coach and college basketball insider Matt Norlander named a number of candidates that are in the mix for the job on Twitter: Murray State’s Matt McMahon, George Mason’s Kim English, Baylor assistant Jerome Tang, and San Francisco’s Todd Golden.
Many college basketball pundits across the country are predicting the San Francisco Dons to earn an NCAA Tournament berth in a few days. Todd Golden has established himself as one of the bright young stars of the game the past few years with the Dons. This season, he’s led San Francisco to a 24-9 overall record, including a 10-6 record in the WCC.
